In this class Chef Mimma will cover the basics of bread, yeast and flour types. Mimma will teach you some great accompaniments to your new favourite focaccia recipe! In this class we will make:
Fresh Baked Focaccia
Potato and spinach soup
A sweet edition of an apple cinnamon dessert focaccia.
Each student will make and take their own 7” round savory focaccia.
Chef Mimma will teach you how to make the perfect ‘straight dough’ which means it is a single step process of making dough that is easily achieved at home! Then dive into all the delicious accompaniments! Finish the afternoon off with a sweet treat and students will enjoy a 15% discount in the store after class!
About the Chef
Chef Mimma has always had a passion for food, beginning as young as 6 years old in an Italian household, it was in her blood! Chef Mimma believes in making desserts and breads achievable for everyone! Chef Mimma is a George Brown Grad with many years experience in prestigious establishments like Oakdale Golf and Country Club, Old Mill Inn, Sorelle and Co and the beautiful St George Golf Club. We are so excited Mimma is joining our roster and sharing her many talents with the students at Nella Cucina.
